Fearless, Upward, Infinite Possibilities

At 12:10 on June 7, 2023, the Lijian-1 Yao-2 carrier rocket, which was jointly developed by the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and China Science Aerospace Corporation, was successfully launched at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. This launch adopts the method of "one rocket, 26 satellites" to successfully launch the experimental satellite into the predetermined orbit.

This mission is the second flight of the Lijian-1 carrier rocket. As the largest solid carrier rocket in China, the continuous success marks the maturity and reliability of Lijian-1 carrier rocket technology, which will accelerate the flight launch of commercial carrier rockets in China. The successful launch of the Lijian-1 and Yao-2 carrier rockets has broken China's record for the highest number of multiple satellites launched with one rocket.

The successful launch of Lijian-1 relies on the joint efforts of various scientific research institutions involved in the project. Navtimes was fortunate enough to participate in this project by dispatching a professional technical team to provide an inertial measurement unit component for the Lijian-1 carrier rocket. This component is used to measure the visual acceleration and angular velocity of the carrier rocket in real time, for the flight control combination to perform attitude and guidance calculations, in order to control the flight of the carrier rocket and provide important data support for rocket launch. The achievement of the feat of "one arrow, 26 stars" by Lijian-1 also makes us feel extremely honored!

The crystallization of hard work

It is reported that the development of Lijian-1 took 1303 days, with a total of 151 ground tests completed, 761 ground tests completed, 277300 lines of code written, 646 drawings drawn, and more than 850 project documents written. All efforts were condensed from the hard work of numerous test personnel, including the valuable contribution of Nike's excellent product quality and diligent technical team
